Comments of Engine Advocacy on Revision to Rules of Practice Before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board

Statement:

Engine submitted comments to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office opposing proposed changes that would restrict access to the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). The comments explain that the PTAB is the most accessible, affordable tool for startups to combat weak, over broad patents, and the proposed rules would ultimately decrease patent quality and harm startup innovation.
