Celebrating technology and ENTREPRENEURSHIP Across the U.S.
New businesses are vital to our country's economic growth, but many policymakers may not know the breadth and depth of startup activity in their districts. The best way to lead? Join us in this nationwide celebration of entrepreneurial communities for Congressional Startup Day on Wednesday, August 21. Congressional Startup Day events will also be held throughout the week of August 19-23.
Congressional Startup Day (formerly Startup Week Across America) is an opportunity for senators and representatives to experience the innovation and entrepreneurship taking place among their constituents. Through these discussions, we hope to strengthen the relationship between lawmakers and the hard working entrepreneurs building the engine of our economy. Engine is partnering with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the Center for American Entrepreneurship to help facilitate the festivities.
We’re pleased to announce that the co-chairs for this year’s Congressional Startup Day are Sens. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Reps. Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.) and Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.).
